Limited Warranty

CPUs and motherboard+CPU bundles from Advantage Consulting come with a Limited 30-Day warranty against "DOA" (Dead On Arrival). This 30-Day period begins on the day we ship to you, and is not transferable. While we test every board and CPU before shipping, please test your CPU or bundle at your earliest convenience to avoid problems; no claim will be honored after the 30-Day warranty period under any circumstances.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, these are brand new, genuine Digital (DEC) products that come in factory packaging and are successfully tested with known-good memory and components before shipping.
In case of failure within 30 days of shipping date, motherboard and CPU (as a bundle) are exchangable for replacement (or refund, at seller's discretion). All returns must include all original packaging and documentation.
"Failure" is defined as a demonstrable hardware failure and is ultimately determined by Advantage Consulting's engineers.
Any return attempts without prior authorization ("RMA", obtainable via email) will not be accepted (i.e., will be refused and returned to buyer at buyer's risk and expense).
On any warranty claim, buyer pays return shipping & insurance, Advantage Consulting pays shipping & insurance of replacement product(s) bundle to customer.
Please note that full and total responsibility for installing/utilizing compatible hardware and software, including (but not limited to) memory, power supplies, operating system(s), applications, and peripherals, is solely borne by the purchaser; these (or other) incompatibilities are not covered under this warranty, nor is failure due to misuse, abuse, power surges, accidents, instability or other problems experienced as a direct or indirect result of "overclocking" (running the CPU faster than its factory-designated speed), and other problems not attributable to manufacturing defect.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Under no circumstances whatsoever is Advantage Consulting responsible, financially or otherwise, for anything beyond what is explicitely stated in this warranty.
